The Kayanja’s and the Mbonye’s go to statehouse seeking power probably because they don’t believe in the power of the living God.
The Catholic church has power and will continue to have power after Kaguta and his cronies are all long gone just the way it existed even under past leaders.
When all these priests you see in picture die, the catholic church shall continue with its operations as it has been before.
On the other side, When Kayanja or Mbonye die, basing on the past using Pr Balabye ekkubo’s precedent, their churches and ministries will likely die with them.
Considering the above, that is why the main stream religious leaders, not only Catholics but including Anglican, orthodox and Muslims can not side with a seasoned dictator.
I personally look at pastors as bloggers. Bloggers debate or write about what is left out in the media, pastors too preach about what is not touched by the church. One can buy off a pastor the same way he can buy a blogger. Bloggers can not suppress main media and likewise pastors will never suppress the church.
