Several pictures of musicians Lydia Jazmine and Ykee Benda have been roaming the internet since last week insinuating a ‘fake’ introduction ceremony.
The artists took advantage of the situation and posted more photos on their social media platforms to fuel their dating rumors even when they were disputed by a section of fans.
Several Ugandans have come out to give individual comments about the roaming pictures.
A Ugandan décor specialist named GLO Has noted that the way the singer’s names are written on the décor shows that it wasn’t a real introduction ceremony.
‘It’s most likely a video for a song collabo if you look at the way they wrote the stage name not real names so I sniff fowl play plus no fellow guest celebrities are congratulating them, Sniff we are getting played,” She further added
Whereas some fans are not moved by the untimely stunt, a few think it’s a good move in marketimg there music.
‘I’m going to like this new song, hopefully it must be a song!” Vanessa Hughs said
However, the two have come out to clear the air and confirm that the photos were just a scene from their upcoming video dubbed ‘Banange” which features on Ykee Benda’s ‘Kirabo Album” and the song is set to be released in the next few days.
Several fans however have come out and openly mocked them for using outdated stunts to capture the attention of the viewers.
They further advised them to consult marketing teams on how to surprise the fans with sensible stunts!
