National Unity Platform(NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has visited remanded MPs, Muhammad Ssegirinya and Allan Ssewanyana at Kigo prison and left them with the biggest message of hope so far!
The two MPs were remanded on several charges including murder, attempted murder and aiding and abetting terrorism in connection to the recent spate of killings in Masaka sub-region where close to 30 people lost their lives.
Bobi Wine was accompanied by the party’s Secretary General Lewis Rubongoya and Spokesperson Joel Senyonyi.
According to the party, the trio on Monday visited Kigo Prison to check on fellow party members and the good news is that both could be out of prison soon on bail.
